Privacy
Igoko does not track people. This site counts visits, and keeps nothing about who made them.
What is counted
igoko.studio counts its visits on its own server, without a cookie and without keeping who you are. When a page is opened, one is added to that day's tally for: which page, which country, which site sent you, whether you were on a Mac, an iPhone, an iPad or something else, and, on a link we posted ourselves, a short tag saying where we posted it. That is all we count.
What is not
- No cookie, no banner, no account.
- No internet address, no description of your browser, no time of day, and no identifier of any kind is written down. So there is no count of unique visitors, and no way to follow a person from one visit to the next.
- Robots and link previews are left out of the count.
- Nothing is shared, sold or sent to anyone else. The page loads nothing from other sites.
We read the numbers once a day, to see whether the page is being read and where from.
Our host
Our host, Railway, keeps its own short log of requests, including your internet address, for up to 7 days to run the service. We do not use it.
The country
Your country is named from your internet address, on our own server, from a table that ships with the site. The address is read for that and for nothing else, held in memory for a few minutes so that one address cannot flood the count, and not written down. The table is IP Geolocation by DB-IP, under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence.
The typeface
The Igoko wordmark is set in Cormorant, served from this site, never fetched from another. It is used under the SIL Open Font Licence, whose text is here.
Who we are
Igoko B.V. trades as Igoko Studio, in the Netherlands. Kraanspoor 50, 1033 SE Amsterdam · KvK 96310049. For anything on this page, write to hello@igoko.studio.
Your rights
The counts hold nothing that identifies a visitor, so there is nothing about you to look up, correct or delete. If you are not satisfied with our answer on anything here, you can complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, the Dutch data protection authority.
